Aaron Kelley is a Paralegal in the New York office of Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization committed to achieving the full recognition of civil rights for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV.

Before joining Lambda Legal, Aaron served as a Research and Program Associate in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice. In that role, they produced research and supported litigation and advocacy efforts on a range of voting rights and elections issues. In particular, their work focused on challenging laws disenfranchising people on the basis of past felony convictions and laws imposing burdensome voter identification requirements.

Prior to working at the Brennan Center, Aaron completed a B.A. at Brown University in Environmental Studies, with a focus on environmental health issues. While earning this degree, they interned at the Rhode Island Center for Justice, specifically supporting the legal organization’s statewide fight against unjust and illegal utility terminations.
