Oliver Stabbe is a Paralegal for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest organization dedicated to advancing the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and individuals living with HIV.

Stabbe's work is primarily focused on working with Lambda's Youth in Out-of-Home Care Project and the Fair Courts Project. The Youth in Out-of-Home Care Project advocates, litigates, and advances policy reform on behalf of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (“LGBTQ”) youth in foster care, juvenile justice, and homelessness systems of care. The Fair Courts Project  focuses its work on issues of judicial independence, judicial diversity, access to justice, and combating bias in the legal system.

Before joining Lambda Legal, Stabbe worked as paralegal at New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), where they provided direct legal service to low-income LGBTQ New Yorkers and domestic violence survivors. Stabbe completed a dual B.A. at the University of Rochester, with majors in Psychology and American Sign Language and a minor in Brain and Cognitive Sciences. While earning this degree, they worked in psychology and neurocognitive research and with Trans Lifeline to expand their services to Deaf and disabled transgender callers in crisis.
