The Lambda Legal Atlanta Leadership Council is thrilled to announce the Co-Chairs for its annual event scheduled for August 18th at the Intercontinental Buckhead. As Co-Chairs, Kevin Fogle and Robert H. Poole will help inspire local, corporate, and grassroots support for Lambda Legal as the organization continues to fight for full lived equality for all LGBTQ people and everyone living with HIV.
“I support Lambda Legal because I am passionate about the civil rights of all, including those of the LGBTQ+ community, and believe in Lambda’s mission and history making work in fighting for these rights,” said Co-Chair Kevin Fogle.
“Lambda Legal’s mission is crucial. While many look to the legislative branch to effect policy change, members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as those living with HIV, continue to find themselves the target of legislation aimed at diminishing their rights and eliminating their existence through stigma and isolation,” said Co-Chair Robert Poole. “As a result, we must turn to the judicial branch, where Lambda Legal has litigated on our behalf since 1973 to preserve and strengthen our rights. It is incumbent upon us to ensure that Lambda Legal is equipped to continue that fight well into the future.”

Kevin Fogle
Kevin (he/him) is a corporate and M&A attorney at Polsinelli PC, focusing on a variety of complex business transactions and corporate matters. He advises U.S. and non-U.S. clients, including private companies, multinational companies, and portfolio companies of private equity firms on matters involving middle-market mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and general corporate matters across a diverse array of industries. Kevin has been a member of the Atlanta Leadership Council since 2023.
Robert H. Poole
Robert (he/him) is a senior associate practicing in Alston & Bird’s Litigation and Trial Practice Group. Robert’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a focus on antitrust and data privacy issues. Robert is an active member of the LGBTQ+ community, proudly supporting Alston & Bird’s diversity policies and programs and serving as a member of the Atlanta Leadership Council.
