Cindi Creager (she/her) is the Chief Communications Officer for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, and people with HIV.

Cindi has spent the last 20 years working in the LGBTQ+ Movement. She was GLAAD’s Director of National News, led communications and marketing at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City, and co-owned a boutique LGBTQ+ focused public relations firm with her wife Rainie Cole for 11 years. Their highest achievement was helping supermodel Hanne Gaby Odiele announce her intersex status, which changed the conversation about intersex human rights and elevated the issue to the highest levels of public awareness.

Prior to working on LGBTQ+ social justice issues, Cindi spent 13 years as a local news professional in Alaska and national news documentary producer in New York City. She is a graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
