Safe Havens II: Youth Contributor Videos

Elliott Hinkle, a trans masculine nonbinary person with experience in Wyoming’s child welfare system and founder and principal of Unicorn Solutions, co-authored Safe Havens II with Center for the Study of Social Policy, Children’s Rights, and Lambda Legal.

In 2023, Elliott conducted a series of interviews with seven young adult contributors – Emilio, Gina, Jaxsyn, Kayden, Shawn, Paris, and Tyler – with lived experience in child welfare, juvenile legal, and youth homelessness systems who share their experiences and recommendations for system improvement through these videos and a call to action in the Safe Havens II report.
