Lambda Legal is pleased to announce it has elected new members to its Board of Directors: Paul Camp, Callie Butcher, Julie M. Cameron-Doe, Philip McCarthy, and Justin Kingsolver.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paul, Callie, Julie, Philip, and Justin to Lambda Legal’s board,” said Lambda Legal CEO Kevin Jennings. “Each brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives that will strengthen our work as we continue to fight for the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV.”
Paul Camp
Paul Camp is a Partner and Head of Transaction Banking within Global Banking & Markets at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Camp holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

I have personally benefited from Lambda’s landmark cases protecting our civil liberties, securing our right to marriage, and protecting our rights to be treated equally under the law. I am incredibly proud of Lambda Legal for what they have and will continue to accomplish,” said Mr. Camp.
Julie Cameron-Doe
Julie Cameron-Doe is a Non-Executive Director of the Western Union Company (NYSE: WU), where she serves on the Audit and Compliance Committees. She most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Wynn Resorts, Ltd. (NASDAQ: WYNN), a $20 billion global resort operator, from 2022 to 2026. She continues to serve on the board of Wynn Macau Ltd (HKSE: 1128).
Ms. Cameron-Doe previously served as Group General Manager and then Chief Financial Officer of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. (ASX: ALL), a $20 billion global gaming manufacturer. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Durham, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and serves as President of the Center Foundation of Nevada.
“As the sole parent of a child in the LGBTQ community, I’m focused on how I can show up as an ally for her and the broader community. The work of Lambda Legal has been a source of hope and inspiration for me over the past few years and I’m honored to have the opportunity to help further this work,” said Ms. Cameron-Doe.
Philip McCarthy
Philip McCarthy is a real estate broker with Sotheby’s International Realty in New York City. A graduate of the College of William & Mary and Georgetown University Law Center, he began his career as a public interest attorney before transitioning to real estate, where he now advises clients on residential transactions throughout Manhattan.
He remains committed to community service, serving on the boards of numerous organizations and philanthropic foundations focused on advancing LGBTQ+ causes. Philip lives in New York City and Bucks County, PA, with his husband and their dog.
“Lambda Legal’s ability to achieve meaningful, lasting change through strategic litigation and public policy work is what first drew me to the organization. It is a mighty advocate for the most vulnerable among us, achieving tangible, outsized results; and I am honored to support its critical mission as a member of the Board,” said Mr. McCarthy.
Callie Butcher
Callie Butcher is a Dallas-based attorney, community leader, and vocal advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. At her firm, Butcher Legal Group PLLC, she focuses her practice on LGBTQ+ Rights and Public Policy, and has been repeatedly recognized by The Best Lawyers, D Magazine and the Texas Diversity Council for her advocacy work.
Ms. Butcher is a Past President of the Dallas LGBT Bar Association and was the first openly transgender person to serve on the board of the Dallas Bar Association. She serves on the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s Board and the State Bar of Texas’s LGBTQ Law Section and is a founding member of the Pride Museum of Texas. Ms. Butcher has also served on Lambda Legal’s Dallas Leadership Committee and Co-Chaired its annual Landmark Dinner for the past three years.
“As an attorney, a mom, a wife, and a transgender woman who has focused much of my career on fighting for and defending queer and trans rights, I know just how critical the work that Lambda Legal does each day is to reversing hateful laws, advancing our rights, and guaranteeing a future where folks like me and families like mine have the same freedoms and equality under the law as anyone else,” said Ms. Butcher.
Justin Kingsolver
Justin Kingsolver is a health care and antitrust litigation partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, where he leads the firm’s health care practice. He regularly represents major healthcare, tech, and transportation companies on both sides of the “v” in complex disputes against government entities and other major companies before state and federal courts and arbitration panels across the country. Before joining Lambda’s Board, Justin served as a Vice Chair of Lambda’s National Leadership Council and has been involved for several years in leading Lambda’s annual fundraising event in Arizona, where Justin and his family reside. Justin has long had an active pro bono practice handling LGBTQ+ civil rights impact litigation — most recently partnering with Lambda to co-lead the pending GLMA v. NIH litigation, which enjoined the Trump administration’s cuts to important health research and essential healthcare services for the LGBTQ+ community.
“After more than a decade volunteering for Lambda—both as a fundraiser and as pro bono counsel on several matters—I am beyond honored to step into this new chapter of involvement with Lambda Legal, which is and has long been, in my view, the single most impactful organization in our community’s fight for full equality under law,” said Mr. Kingsolver.
